Celbux is a third party payment solution, that utilizes your cellphone in place of cash or a bank card.

The celbux payment system uses a plugin, so if the plugin is not installed then celbux payments will not work.


Celbux setup

There is an easy way to check whether Celbux is set up correctly:

  1. Open Invoicing

  2. Select the Plugins menu

  3. Check that Cellbux Settings is available

  4. Select Celbux Settings

  5. When the Celbux Settings window is open, check that all the fields have relevant info.

  6. If the window’s fields look like the image below, then your Celbux is not set up correctly:

Celbux Payment

Ringing up an order and paying with the Celbux Payment System:

  1. Ring up an order

    1. Can be any kind of order (Counter, Delivery, Table)

  2. When the Payment Screen appears is should look like the image below:

  3. Select “Other Payments” or press F10 as is highlighted in the image above.

  4. After that, the following window should appear:

  5. Select Celbux

  6. After selecting Celbux, the following window should appear:

    2. The amount should automatically update to the total of your order.

  7. After updating your amount, the following window should appear:

    2. Enter the voucher number that you will receive from the client.

  8. If the voucher is correct, it will display the following window:

    2. If it was unsuccessful the previous window will appear again, requesting the voucher number.

  9. After successful payment you will be returned to your payment screen, with updated totals, as the following image shows:

  10. After finishing the order, the order will appear under the “PAID” tab in Invoicing.


Celbux Transactions

Viewing the Celbux Transactions from Invoicing or Backoffice:

Your daily Celbux transactions can be viewed in both Invoicing and Backoffice by doing the following:

  1. Open Invoicing or Backoffice

  2. Select Lists > Celbux Transactions

    1. In both cases, the option should be at the bottom of the list that appears.

  3. The following window will appear:

    1. If no transactions were rung up, then this window will appear blank.

    2. The highlighted section was the last transaction rung up.


Celbux Cashup

Celbux Details in Cashup:

When running cashup all Celbux transactions should appear in the Other Payments section under both the Till Chasup and Shop Cashup.


Please note: Shop Cashup will only reflect the orders after the relevant Till has been posted and locked.


To check you Celbux Cashup, do the following:

  1. Open Invoicing or Backoffice

  2. In Invoicing, select Cashup

    1. In Backoffice, select Activities > Cashup

  3. When Cashup has loaded, select the Till Tab.

    3. The highlighted section relates to your Celbux payments, but it also includes other payments you could have made using the Other Payments option in the Payment Screen.

  4. After posting and locking your Till Cashup, the Shop Cashup should appear as follows:

Celbux Reports

Celbux Transaction Summary Report:

The Celbux transaction Summary report will show a summary of your transactions within a specific period of your choosing.


This report can be found under:

  • Reports > Sales > Celbux Transaction Summary Report


Running the report:

  1. When you run the report, the following window will appear:

    2. You can select the date range and whether you want details to show on the report or not.

  2. If Show Detail is selected, every transaction for that date range will be shown.

  3. If Show Detail is not selected then only the totals for that day will show.
