Below is a step by step guide on how to do a cashup for the SST (Self Service Terminal).
The cashup process is the same as cashing up a till, as soon as an order is placed on the SST it will automatically create an Active Till on the cashup and the operator code will be SST. Each SST will have it's own till to cashup.
Step 1: Select Cashup on Invoicing/Backoffice:
Step 2: Select the active till with Operator code SST that you want to cash up:
The Net Sales is the value of all sales done on this specific SST for the day and all payments are captured under Other Payments (Ctrl + F3).
You can confirm the amount by printing the sales slip from the SST by doing the following.
1. Scan the QR code on the QR Code scanner on the SST:
2. Once the page has loaded select Manage>:
3. Select Kiosk:
4. Select Sales:
5. Here you will see the sales made on the SST
Please note this includes all sales made on the SST, if you had to over-ring an order on the POS it will still appear as a sale on this printout. (You will need to print out the over-ring slip on the till and keep it with the cash up as proof of the over-ring.
To print out the sales make sure you select the correct date and then select PRINT:
6. Once done you can click on Close.
Step 3: You can make use of this printout to make sure that the totals match (If possible and you have it available please keep a copy of the SST orders slips to also cross-reference if needed), but the total on the cash up should match with the total on the FNB portal for the PED. Once done you can Post & Lock the till cash up and continue with the rest of the cash ups.
